The Beginning of a New School Year

School is back in session! August thirteenth marked the first day of the school year at Providence Catholic for the freshman, and August fourteenth for the rest of the school. This is an exciting and stressful time of year for everyone. For some, it is a new year at a new school with new people, for others it is their last year here at Providence Catholic filled with emotional times. With all the homework, studying, and assignments piling up on top of extracurriculars it is extremely important to stay organized. A few tips to stay organized are keeping your locker and supplies organized, working on your time management skills, and setting up a schedule. I recommend organizing your locker every day after the school day finishes, this will keep you organized. It is also important to manage your time. If something is assigned on Monday that is due at the end of the week, do a little bit every night to ensure that you finish on time and that it is your best work.

Whenever you are feeling stressed think of all the fun events to come and how, by working hard, you’ll be able to attend them! Football games on Friday nights, Harvest Drive, and Homecoming are just some events that are coming up this season!
