Her classroom is bursting with bright flowers and posters of motivational quotes. She’s kind, welcoming, and incredible, and she’s Ms. Estrada, one of Providence’s new freshman English teachers.
When I interviewed Ms. Estrada, she said that her favorite thing about Providence so far is “definitely working with the students and the general vibe.” As for Ms. Estrada’s vibe, she cares deeply about helping her students love English and explore new stories. She is also very creative, and her classroom is full of her students’ projects and her own beautiful decorations.
When she is not teaching, Ms. Estrada loves spending time with her family. She also serves in the Army Reserves. Both of these activities show her love and support of everyone around her, and she is always willing to help one of her students with an essay or a challenging subject.
