Over the summer, the Providence Catholic Marching Band dove into an intensive training schedule to prepare for the upcoming fall season. They kicked things off with simple forward and backward marching. Then they practiced the first two sets of their show The Circle Game under the scorching hot sun. After two weeks, the band had to stay for another week of twelve-hour days, eating lunches and special fast-food dinners together. At the end of the third week, they played The Circle Game for the first time for their parents to mark the end of band camp.
On Saturday, September 13, the Marching Celtics played long and hard for their first invitational of the season. They won third place and were not far behind the winners.
